Lupin was a huge success for Netflix – the first “foreign” Series holding the no 1 spot in their top ten of the ost watched content, it made actor Omar Sy a world star and launched a huge interest in the filming locations. So much so, that the small town of Étretat had to close it’s roads for non residents in order to manage the vast number of tourist. It was the intention of the filmmakers to show a true picture Paris, that not only shows the well known touristy places.
